Discover Latium wonders in the list of UNESCO world heritage sites. A diversified journey through the different ages of history, from Roman and Etruscan times, to the Renaissance and the Baroque, along the main testimonies found between Tuscia and the province of Rome.

Tour plan, prices, notes
Day 1: Rome
Our tour will start from Rome, the Eternal City, the ancient capital city of the Roman Empire as well as the heart of Catholicism. On this day, we will visit the Urbe starting from its Christian features and enjoy the main architecture, including St. Peter’s Basilica and the amazing Vatican Museums. We will try to capture their secrets and beauties. Our tour will end in Castel Sant’Angelo, a monument combining its Roman origins and the adaptation of the Christian age.
Meeting point in Roma Termini, left luggage storage service at the station, transfer to entrance and guided tour of the Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica, entrance and guided tour of Castel Sant’Angelo; dinner, check in and overnight.
Day 2: Rome
On the second day in the Eternal City, we will try to reveal the face of the cradle and capital of the Roman Empire. We will admire the most impressive legacy, such as the Colosseum and the Roman forum, to immerse ourselves in a lovely walk where we will see the remains of the ancient town that can be found in the historic centre.
Check out, entrance and tour of the Colosseum and Fori Imperiali, lunch; guided tour of the historic centre, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Tarquinia – Cerveteri
From Rome we will head northwards to Tuscia, an area where the Roman civilization met the Etruscans. We will learn more about the ancient and mysterious Italic people of Etruscans, from the findings of their necropolises, such as the most famous of Tarquinia and Cerveteri that still have a lot to reveal and keep an air of mystery, in spite of the amazing findings.
Breakfast and check out; transfer to Tarquinia; entrance and tour of the necropolis of Tarquinia; lunch; transfer to Cerveteri; entrance and tour of the necropolis of Cerveteri; dinner; overnight in a B&B.
Day 4: Tivoli
We will end our tour in Tivoli, a town not that far from Rome. The town is very popular because it is home to two wonderful gems of the Roman architecture belonging to different times: the wide and sumptuous Villa Adriana, commissioned by the same-name Emperor, and Villa D’Este, a majestic masterpiece of a Italian Renaissance garden, characterized by fountains, nymphaeum, caves, water features, and water powered music.
Breakfast and check out; transfer to Tivoli; entrance and guided tour of Villa Adriana; lunch, entrance and guided tour of Villa d’Este, free time and transfer to Roma Termini, end of tour.
