Arrival in Naples. Guests will discover the town going up and down the many stairs of the metropolis, for an out-of-the-ordinary urban trekking experience. In the late afternoon, we will move toPimonte, aborgo located in the Lattari mountains.

A tour in the heart of the Lattari mountains, among Agerola, Pimonte,and Gragnano. Your trekking tour will be surrounded by history and charm, retracing the most ancient trails of the Maritime Republic of Amalfi. We will go through a coast trail up to the stronghold of Castrum Pini, soaking up the environment and the way they used to move in the past, walking on very old stone tracks, visiting the ruins of a very old medieval village and the restored church that today replaces it. Dinner and overnight at the Sant’Angelo Resort, in Pimonte.

The most intense and genuine trekking of the Lattari Mountains. You will walk on the calcareous tops of Mount Faito, the highest mountain of the province of Naples (1144 m above sea level) as well as the highest and closest place to the sea of Europe. Visitors will admire the ruins of Pompeii from above, the Campania plane, Vesuvius, Capri, and the whole Sorrento Peninsula.

Italy’s most popular trekking track. A breath-taking trail, walking suspended between the sky and sea, just up against the steep rocky cliffs over Positano. An experience full of rural and mythological features where you can discover the real life of the upper Amalfi coast, as well as the Ulysses myth that has made this place famous. Going along the path of Gods means also to discover what trekking can provide here: history, nature, landscape, and rurality.

An itinerary as old as it is fascinating, Alta Via was the first hiking trail that CAI (Italian Alpine Club) traced in the Lattari mountains. We will go along it partially and see the peaksof the mountain ridge that separates the Campania coast in two gulfs, Naples and Salerno.

Heading to Ercolano, we will reach the majestic Vesuvius. An upward itinerary will take us towards the most famous crater edge, walked byscholars and intellectuals of all ages. We will reach the crater on the south-western slope of the volcano and admire its magnificence.
