Tour plan, prices, notes
Day 1: Scala – Amalfi
Arrival in Naples. Tour of the Amalfi Coast through its mountain trails, discovering the rural areas of the Regional Park of the Lattari mountains, accompanied by hiking guides. A visit of the Oriented Natural Reserve of Ferriere Valley, located between Scala e Amalfi, a place full of diversified and rare native species of plants and animals. Trekking trail up to the centre of Amalfi, with a stop in the ancient maritime Republic centre. Dinner and overnight in the heart of the Lattari mountains, in Pimonte, at the Sant’AngeloResort.
Arrival in Naples, transfer to Scala, trekking + guided tour of the Ferriere Valley; transfer to Pimonte; dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Pompeii
A visitto the Pompeii ruins. Experience the food at a masseria that will recreate the setting of a real old Pompeii osteria. Overnight stay in Pompeii.
Transfer to Pompeii, entrance and guided tour of Pompeii ruins,show lunch at masseria; dinner and overnight stay in Pompeii.
Day 3: Cava de’ Tirreni
We will visit a centre specializing in digital craftsmanship, at the medieval village of Cava de’ Tirreni, on the edge of the Amalfi Coast. Enjoy our pottery workshop to experience the so-called “rotto vietrese” technique (mosaics made of different tiles to make a single pattern). Nearby Vietri sul Mare is house to the art of pottery, which made it popular for its handicrafts. The tour will end in Salerno.
Transfer to Cava de’ Tirreni, pottery workshop and visit of the digital craftmanship centre; transfer to Salerno; End of tour.
