Tour description
Ciociaria, land in between Rome and Campania, is characterized by some impressive fortresses to defend the ancient connection road between the Eternal City and Naples. The Castle of Fumone (big smoke) became important due to its strategic position over the Sacco Valley that has always represented a connection between the Roman and the Neapolitan area. It still preserves many evocative testimonies of such an intense exchange.
