In the Agro Nocerino Sarnese, an area located halfway between Naples and Salerno, with a mild climate and a fertile land originated from the Vesuvius, bright red patches dominate the green vegetable gardens, like in an impressionist painting: we are talking about crops of tomato, the king of vegetables. We are in the land of the renowned San Marzano, a long-shaped sweet and sour tomato. The tour will take place in Pagani, near San Marzano Sul Sarno, in a farm where an agronomist will explain organic farming techniques and show the resulting ecotypes. Plus, a tourist guide, going through the arts of literature and cinema, will reconstruct the history of tomato, through stories and myths. Guests will also enjoy a tasting of the product, prepared by the owners of the companyit according to local cooking traditions.
