Tour plan, prices, notes
Day 1: Gragnano
Departure from Naples. Guests will visit an old production site of an historic pasta factory in Gragnano. We will taste Gragnano pasta paired with a local wine, with the help of a sommelier who will reveal the secrets of a perfect match. Overnight in the Lattari mountains, in Pimonte.
Arrival in Naples; transfer to Gragnano; visit and tasting at a pasta factory in Gragnano; overnight at the Sant’Angelo Resort in Pimonte.
Day 2: Tramonti
Soak up the green atmosphere of the Amalfi Coast in Tramonti, a place that allegedly took its name from “tramontane”, the north wind. Here, guests will visit the centenarian vineyards and taste wines in a typical family lunch of southern Italy. The lunch will be prepared along with the participants to discover and learn personally Mediterranean cuisine and tastes. Overnight in the the Lattari Mountains, in Pimonte.
Breakfast; transfer to Tramonti; visit to vineyards, cooking lesson and lunch at a farming business in Tramonti; transfer to enjoy a walk on the Amalfi Coast or in the Lattari mountains; transfer to Pimonte: overnight at the Sant’Angelo Resort in Pimonte.
Day 3: Terzigno – Pompeii
Terzigno is located on the slopes of Vesuvius. Here, from within its pine woods you can enjoy the beauties of a volcano landscape. Visit and lunch with wine tasting in a winery where Lacryma Christi, the renowned Vesuvius wine is produced. In the afternoon, guests will have some time to themselves in Pompeii and have dinner at an ancient tavern where they can enjoy the ancient Romans’ dishes and wine.
Breakfast; transfer to Terzigno; visit and lunch at a winery; dinner with wine tasting at an old tavern in Pompeii; transfer to Pimonte; overnight at the Sant’Angelo Resort in Pimonte.
Day 4: Furore
A day on the Amalfi Coast to discover the Furore Fjord, a vertically-developed village, going from the sea to the mountain. In the afternoon, guests will visit the stoic vineyards of “the village that doesn’t exist”, hidden among the curves of the road that leads to the Amalfi Coast. The dinner will include a tasting of wines with a unique flavour, originated from a land as extreme as extraordinary. Overnight in the Lattari Mountains, in Pimonte.
Breakfast; transfer to Furore; visit and dinner at a winery in Furore; transfer to Pimonte; overnight at the Sant’Angelo Resort in Pimonte.
Day 5: Naples
Transfer to Naples and end of tour.
